Hey guys, I'm trying to upgrade my current system.
Apparently the mobo that I have doesn't appropriately support SSDs, resulting in a lower benchmark.

Basic info is:

No operating problems with the CPU or system, but when I got my SSD it didn't run as fast; found out the SATA3 in this thing is running through Marvell SE9123 chips, limiting SSD full capabilities.

I'm looking for an upgrade CPU and Mobo to go with that; based on other threads I'm thinking AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz or Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz
Phenom II X4 965 Black Deneb ($125): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727
i5-2500K ($220): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

Mobo and cooler are entirely up to suggestion, but I don't really need a badass cooler, just something that will keep the system decently cool. If the stock cooler works fine with a stable OC, then no need.
I could use a new case as well (HAF 912 or Antec 300?) if the budget's right, because my current case offers little cable management and I would like to have something more neater.

Thanks in advance guys. Have a good one!
