Hello,
my Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 broke down so i brought it to the shop where i had bought the pc to send it for RMA.
However the reseller offered me a 6850 in exchange. I would like to now today which one is better, especially for gaming.

My current configuration is:
mobo Asus P6X58D Premium
cpu Intel i7 930 2.8GHz
ram 3x2GB Corsair Dominator 1600MHz
psu Cooler Master GX 750W

The 5850 is the more powerful card.
The 6850 has more features, and has much better Crossfire potential.

So, either tell them to stick it up their a** and get them to give you a 5850...
Or accept that, and buy another 6850 in the future.

tell them to send you a 6870.

the 6850 < 5850.
