Will my CPU bottleneck the Video Card?

Hello,

I'm planning on buying a new video card and replace my old HD4850.
What I want to buy is the Gigabyte Radeon HD6950 1GB OC, but I'm concerned that my CPU will bottleneck it.
My current build is:

Intel Core2Quad Q9300 @2.5Ghz
MSI P35 Platinum Combo (Doesn't support Intel iX CPUs)
4GB Ram
Enermax Pro+82 525W PSU
Sapphire Radeon HD4850 Vapour-X
A 1920x1080 resolution Samsung monitor

My questions are :
Will my CPU bottleneck the video card I want to buy?
Will overclocking the cpu help to increase the hd6950's performence?
If the bottleneck will hurt the video card's performence a lot, can you suggest a video card that will perform better?

I don't think your cpu will bottleneck 6950. A little overclock will help. The video card will perform verry good.

probably your card was ahead to your cpu,if you can? upggrade to i5 2500k or either i7..but you still safe in that cpu you have.

Unfortunatly I don't have the option to upgrade my CPU to an i3/i5/i7 since my mobo doesn't ssupport these chipsets.
