Hey all, I finally got the budget to build my pc. It will mostly be used for gaming but an all around good performance is what i am looking for.

Im not very good at this but i researched a bit and came up with this build.

Processor - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...623i32120.html
Motherboard - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...-g0eay0kz.html
HD - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...t500dm002.html
RAM - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...m2a1333c9.html
PS - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...zs550w-uk.html
Fan - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...e-22pk-r1.html
Sound card - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...d.html#reviews
Case - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...ov-prowle.html
DVD drive - http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/c...222bbbebe.html

I am just not sure what graphics card to go for. I dont need the last generation ultra 3d HD mega fast card but something that can run the latest games smoothly in middle settings is fine. I didnt want to pay more than £100 for it, so the best card I can get for less than 100 would be great.

Also, im not sure if everything is compatible or if im missing anything else, so any comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance

My advice is to drop the CPU cooler i3 2100 is not hot at all and can't be overclocked.
Drop the sound card don't worth the money, the integrated audio chip is more than enough and buy this video card XFX AMD Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/atiradeongraphicscards/atihd6800series/hd-687a-zhfc.html
And buy 8GB RAM. All will be in the same budget.
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 C9 1600MHz http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/memory-pc/ddr3-pc3-12800/1600mhz/bls2cp4g3d1609ds1s00ceu.html

+1, +1, +1

I agree entirely.

You might also consider a Corsair Accelerator solid-state cache drive for $70-100, if you can find one - or at least upgrade down the road. Quick, cheap solution for SSD speed.

Thank u very much guys. Just two more things.

Is it possible to get a video card a little bit cheaper than that with roughly the same performance? Maybe downgraded 1 step? If not, its fine, dont worry about it.

And also, I wont buy the monitor now but will do it in the near future so i might as well decide now.

I would like a 19" 16:9, 1366 x 768 Resolution monitor. If u could give me two options, 1 wth hdmi and 1 without, would be great.
Also, the lower the price the better :D

Thanks a lot

Buy that 6870 and a 21.5" full hd monitor. You will not regret.
