It's been a while since I built my last machine, and I haven't been keeping up with the latest hardware advancements. Can you help me? I want more opinions on this build. I would love to hear any suggestions you guys have. Thanks.

I'd agree with going intel if you can justify it. It will perform better across the board. But if your a AMD fan no point in trying to convince you.

It also might be a tad cheaper. I'd also try to find a deal on the 560ti. Thats overpriced imo.

It's a solid build. Since you have a bit more budget headroom, you can do better.

I'd suggest going for a i5 2400 + HD7850 for that budget. Check my sig. The $800 build should be under $700 since you already have an OS and hard drives.
