Because I can't find a true "general" section, I'm sticking it here. Post links to the most pathetic threads you can find just so we can all have a laugh (and maybe even a cry) at the stupidity of humanity.
I'll start: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/102815-13-want
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/foru [...] _45_0.html
This one made me laugh.
Sorry ... but the idea is totally absurd.
This is a tech forum ...
Ok, we'll make it for posts, not just threads: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] 0#t1943757
Here's one: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/252082-32-hard500
Another: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/263827-30-help
And this was just pure FAIL on the OP's part: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] oling-idea

One more: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] mshardware
one more: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] g-painting
Just for lolz: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum-11.html

Not sure if this is just stupid or not: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/33-65-funeral-plans
Notice the posted section: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] lack-lines
Another: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] r-password

i forgot about Christopher11 and his power index crap
I seriously think my brain stopped functioning after reading like the first 5 posts.
Edit: Holy shiza, it just keeps getting worse!!
I am sure I have contributed some of the stupidness on here, but I really, really get tickled when someone pops in an answer to a 3 year old thread.
i really hate the "I lost my cd case, pls give me the key" posts
No... I think the lower it went was:this one!
Does any one have the link to that thread where the OP *said* he was running a E6xxx (IIRC) on a 750a chipset. It was on an April 1st and had like 15 pages.

A possible candidate? http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/1013-63-where-window-vista-from#t8209

I think most of these threads can be used in a PSA for why you should not eat paint chips or smoke crack.

I object to this one. It is quite clear I was trying to be nice and provide a service.
I should mention that the OP of "Very old computer working?" is still active on the forum. He posted a thread yesterday
I asked after his rig but got no reply, dunno why. Badge seems to have taken a shine to him though.

Or is it "for the loose"?
Randomizer is a felonius feline that has to be nutterred. Who is in agreement, he's been hitting the catnip a lot lately too.
Nuttered, like headbutted or something or do you mean neutered?
strangestranger you are such a vegetable.
Why thank you, I think.

Hey! I thought we weren't EVER supposed to mention him EVER again?! He has left us alone, there is no need to ever mention him again.
weird

Any thread asking "Will this play Crysis?"
Srsly, gtfo.
Here's a new one: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] h-basement

Here is another that just makes you wonder
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] -hard-disk
That is classic, cavemen still exist.
I gave up trying to follow that thread.
At least you know I'm not to be trusted. Lying and plagiarising, how could I do such a thing?
Damn that was an oddity.
Well here is one more that Im still wondering about as well.
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] mshardware
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/268917-28-open
this guy was a sad example of people's laziness on the forums
im gonna bookmark this thread. I shall read these "threads/posts" whenever im down. they really make me laugh.
This thread, like many n00bie created threads, gets my vote! Enjoy!

LMAO here!
Another: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/263827-30-help
though ironically i actually know how to fix this one (it involves removing the RAM cover, wiring two wires from an RS232 port on a separate PC to the BIOS Flash memeory chip and running some DOS utility the name of which escapes me on that PC to read the password stright out of the flash ram.)
Somehow I don't think this guy would have got it
Another candidate? http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/103219-13-wont-cars

I have never been here. Nor was I one of the one's who left. In addition, I have never participated in a stupid post or thread in all the time I have never been here.
| mousemonkey wrote : I asked after his rig but got no reply, dunno why. Badge seems to have taken a shine to him though. |
Everything I said to the guy was out of fear he may reply back asking a power cord question.
