Help in wiping Windows 8 and hard disk.

I recently finished building a computer and learning I needed an OEM Operating System for the computer, I went out and purchased the software, but I cannot figure out how to wipe my drive, so any help would be great. Thanks.

maybe this will help you? inserting the disc should boot if not enter your bios and change your primary boot device to the cd rom

Well it sorta worked, worked until the point the disk could not locate drivers.

You DID check your hardware was 8 compatible BEFORE you bought 8 ?

did your motherboard come with a cd by chance? those contain the drivers u need so the hard drive can show up.
