Ok. I just got a great deal on a am2 motherboard, cpu and ram. Anywho, I also Purchased a new gpu. GTX 550 ti. Something is not right with it so here goes the specs and then comes the promblems.

Mobo: MCP61SM-AM
CPU: Athlon x2 4600
RAM: 2gb DDR2 800mhz
GPU: xfx HD4670
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 RX 450w
H.D.D: x2 sata in RAID total of 260gb

Ok. Everything is functioning with the above setup. The new 550 ti requires 1 6-pin pci-e connector. I dont have that plug. Guy before me lost that and the sata connector for the psu. anywho. I look at DIY molex to 6-pin, try my luck. which Im fairly certain i had it right. Im not stupid. Ok. So i plug my connector in. one molex per rail off psu so i can get 24a. No go.

I also notice that my hdd and dvdrom try to spin but I dont think they are. Just spin every 2 seconds for not even a second. Any help would be most appreciated.
