Everything looks good to me although are you going to be using an aftermarket heatsink for you CPU? If you are you might want to consider getting RAM with shorter heatsinks on them and also I would reccomend getting a cheaper set of ram. You can find RAM with the same specs and similar latency and power for cheaper.

I'm planning on using evga's step up program so the msi is out of the question but thanks anyways.

They are all great. Go for it.
But as for a gtx 580 i would go with:
MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 580 $389.99 o/c to 800mhz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
or
Galaxy 58NLH5DI5TXX MDT X4 GeForce GTX 580 $409.99 o/c to 860mhz plus 4 monitor output!

Oh sorry my bad, didnt check well your notes

If you can do this then yeah from what I read on leaked benchies from sites and users, the GTX680 will be a real monster (performance wise will be 18% faster than 7970) while it will consume less power!!!! http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?2777...“Kepler”-Nvidia-GeForce-GTX-780&p=5071447&viewfull=1#post5071447 :D

7870 should compete well with the 580 for less money, less power consumption and very close to 7970 performance.

IMHO, it's just rumors. Remember how everyone said BD would kill i7? Yeah.

Well the only thing that remain is to wait 2 days. Benchies will be here and everywere on the internet. And these I post wasn't rumors. They are the same pictures that everyone will see at tom's hardware in two days. I don't know how they leaked to be honest...
Anyway these would be good news. Nvidia plans to sell gtx680 for $499, which this will make a chain reaction for all cards making them priced down. Wouldnt be great a 7950 for $300 or a 7870 for $250? :D
Its a win-win for us, the customers!

Even if the 680 comes out at 499 do you really believe the price of a 7950 and a 7870 will drop 170 and 110 accordingly? yea maybe months from now, but realisticly is the long wait worth the price drop, maybe for a second to crossfire..
