Where do the front wires go?

I'm nearly finished building but I don't know where these wires go. I can point to where I think they would

go on the Mobo certainly and I know I need to consult the Manual but I don't know what I'm looking for in the

Manual.

The H.D.D Led wire is red and white
The Power SW wire is black and white
The Power Led wire is blue and white

The Motherboard I'm using is an M5A78L-M LX V2


The case I'm using is from an Emachines E4026 from 2005 if that helps.

look at the manual, it will tell you, look for on board connections, you'll see the power sw etc. referenced.

13th monkey is right. It's in your mbod manual.

white is the negative or - wire.
The other color is the positive.
I find that confuses people very often when installing that wiring.

look at the connecters themselfs


they are shaped to go one way



if you look at the manual it shows you which to use as well as a layout diagram off boad



for example molex power conecters power fans and some accesories


these are 4 pins usually on a white connecter but not always the case

the front panel connectors are not one way only, all other ones are.

quick check in the manual and i found the part where the 3 wires should connect to.

the pins are like

+hdled reset


so if connected the wires it should look like this

0 - 0 0 - 0
0 - 0 . .
. . . . .

?


0-0 = a wire

Yep, though Asus' Qconnect makes it a lot less painful.
