Hello all. This is my first PC build in many years and I was just wanting to make sure all my parts were compatible with each other. It's been a very long time since I've done this so please forgive any noob mistakes. Thanks in advance for your feedback. It's very appreciated.

ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 mobo

Intel Core i7-2700K Sandy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core

HIS H785F2G2M Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Antec DF-85 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower

Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

LITE-ON CD/DvD reader/burner with LightScribe Support

One last thought. I went with 1333 MHz ram because I was under the impression that's all the 2700K would support. Is this true? Again, many thanks in advance.

Solution
If the build is for gaming go with i5 2500k.
You can put 1600Mhz RAM will work fine , just set in BIOS the frequency and enable XMP profile anf will work at 1600Mhz.
If you change the CPU can buy a better video card 7870.

Thanks for the feedback. Let me verify this to make sure I understand. You're suggesting for gaming the i5 because in game (and probably most real world applications) I won't notice the performance difference and with the difference in cost I can get the better video card which will have more impact on my gaming? This machine is purely for gaming. I've got other computers for everything else. I've just been away from PC building for a while so I'm asking some rather noobish questions I'm sure.
