It seems funny to me to be seeing tons of new writers out there that have more than 4x rewriting speeds. I havn't seen cdrw media that has more than 4x rewriting speed, well at least not where I live. :) Im curious if there are cdrw media out there that have more than 4x rewrite speeds? If there are who makes them and where are they available?

Oroooo!!!

i have one that rewrites at 10x, but i got that with the cdwriter. i think it's cos cd-r are so cheap that a lot of peopl dont bother with cd-rw's. i do now that i got 80 min cd-rw's to write at work since theirs are 4x, but i write on my tdk 10x cd-rw at home.

then again, tdk cd's are expensive as i recall. guess you pay for the extra speed.

Yeah, RWs higher than 4x are quite rare to find... but they're out there.

Where I am (U.S. Midwest) Best Buy had a bunch of 'em. And they were about the same price as 4x cd-rws. They said something like intended for higher speed drives, like 4x-10x or something like that.

Two weeks ago I found Verbatim Hi-Speed CDRW cds in Zaragoza,my city, in Spain. I could hardly believe it!!! I've already got 5 of them. Just wait.

Previously I could only order them in packs of 10 from Madrid, and there was no way to find them in computer stores...

Just wait, wait if you can...
