O ya if i can do you think i can unlock to a 6970?
  2. That one should be able to run it, however there are better choices in PSU's out there for that price. This one for example uses a single rail so you can use all the power it has, and costs the same.

You'll be able to OC on this PSU no problem.
  3. bah I got it for 50 dollars though sorta budget constrained

I see, it isn't bad for $50, I just don't really like systems with more than 1 12v rail. 2 or more rail systems start to get more confusing. Like I said it'll probably be able to run it, but since it uses 2 rails, its hard to say if you'll be able to OC very high.
  5. It doesn't matter if its '2 rails' or one rail. Most power supplies with "multiple rails" feed off a single 12v rail anyhow.

Find the wattage for the 12v rails (you can't add them together) and then divide by 12 to get the actual Amperage on the 12v rail.

The BP550 will be able to run that system with no problems.
  6. First time building should probably read about rail stuff lol

    Can this be right really?
