well, if you have to get something now... a gtx560ti (384), runs every thing well. as a 7950 does to and approachs the speed of sli 560's and would probably fit within the power budget that you have... (the only program that i know that runs alot slower on 7950 than the 560ti is Second Life).

wait for gta5 to come out... computer stuff aways gets better, thus today stuff is yesterdays slow stuff... so wait until gta5 is released, then buy the computer stuff.

BTW 600 dollars is not much for a new computer... and i think gta5 is going to be console only, (at first), so if the game is arriving in a year, you will have to wait at least another year for the pc version...

hold on to your money. wait.

i5-2500k with a 300$ GPU and with that set-up you could buy a second GPU later on whe the prices will have decreased (after they released the next generation GPU). Just be sure to pick up a PSU that allow it.

So either get a 7850 or a 7870. You can always wait to see the Nvidia 600s to be released to compare the benchmark but I wouldn,t expect to play game at ultra for the next 3years ona 600$ PC even if 720p isn't demanding.

i5-2500k + a 250$ is the bare minimum I would suggest.

well i want to put my opinion in that.. !!
well it depends
GTA 4 was poorly optimized for PC.
BUT IF R* made gta 5 like max payne 3 or similar graphics engine for pc
then u dont have to put extra money..!!
max payne 3 worked brolliantly with my old system with 2 gig ram,e5500 processor and gt 430 at 1024x 768..
i think an
i3 processor
4 gig ram
hd 6670 woud be enough in that case(720P
)
