Video card suggestions

Hello,
i currently have an Athlon II x2 250 3.0 Ghz,
4Gb ddr2, 450w cooler master psu, with a 512mb 9800gt. i am wanting to upgrade my video card. i play games such as WoW, Dead Space 1 and 2 and a host of "bundle" games. while i am truley suprised that i can run dead space and WoW at 1920x1080 and high settings with decent fps i still feel that my card is "struggling". my budget is around $100 or so (i can spend more if needed). one of my concerns is cpu. i feel like anything more than say a gts 250 will be bottlenecked. i do not have a preference over nividia or amd ... i just the best i can effectly use with my againg hardware. i will be building a new pc in about 6 months or so and this one will be given to my son as his "gaming" pc.

which cpu you are using?

your psu and cpu can run hd 6770 just go for it

if you have am3 motherboard than just upgrade your cpu to atleast phenom ii x4 black edition and oc and get a good performance in multi tasking.if u upgrade cpu for gaming then go for phenom ii x4 965be at cheap price.

i would uprade to a pii but i am using an older am2+ mobo (ems) that can only handle up to 65w cpus. thanx for all the replies, it is likely i will go with the amd 6770.
