Best GPU

Hello everyone

I have a dell dimension 5000 pc its as old as the hills
I mainly use this old workhorse for work ie. Vector graphic design and plotting
It has a P4 2.8 cpu
and 2 gig DDR2
I had been using a GeForce 7300 GT (RIP).
can anyone tell me what would be the optimum card for this machine? without having to upgrade psu ect.

Any idea what the PSU on the computer is? I imagine it isn't too powerful. Also, did the old GPU utilize PCI-E x16, PCI, or AGP slots?

Its a step up from the 7300 GT by about two tiers or so. Cheap. So long as the 7300 GT was PCI-E slot, then this'll work for ya, and the PSU should be able to handle it.

Except, he isn't getting it for gaming. And he has already purchased the card. Though he is always free to return it and get the 440 GT, I really don't think its necessary.

No i have another pc for games this is a old work horse & 440 would be overkill.
