Hey guys I got a new computer and I was wondering something, on the side of the computer it says i have intergrated graphics but it also says i have AMD Radeon HD 6550D and then its says intergrated graphics below it. I check my computer specs and it says my graphic card has 4gb ram, my computer has 8gb ddr3 ram...

Im confused do i have a actual graphics card or just a intergrated one? Is there a way i can tell ? i saw through my computer (little holes in case) that their was what appeared to be the port where you put the gpu in..

Here is a list of the specs

i am gonna address the gfx card related bits (for psu related info, ask in the psu section).
6550d is amd llano cpu's integrated gpu. it uses pc's ram for video memory. if you have 8gb and then the integrated gpu will use some of it.
you can run softwares like techpowerup's gpu-z or piriform's speccy to check your detailed system information.
with gtx 560ti you would be able to play bf3 at settings much higher than you could with the integrated gpu.
bf3 performance analysis:

a good 550+ watts, 80+ rated psu should suffice.

the discreet gfx card goes into the (usually) blue colored pcie 2.0 slot. since your pc uses integrated gpu, the display should be connected through the display connectors on the motherboard (look behind the pc case).
when you use the discreet gfx card, connect the monitor to the gfx card's video output port i.e. dvi/hdmi/displayport depending on which connector your monitor uses.
