Hello. I was looking at the 560 Ti and was really impressed by it, so I am planning on buying it. Many people however say that the 6950 is better. Now I don't know what to choose. I have always been a Nvidia user and the products are amazing, but in some tests the 6950 beat the 560 by a lot. People say by simply overclocking the 560, it would then outperform the 6950. Is this true? And if I am still 100% sure on buying the 560 Ti, I need to know which one. Would you recommend the EVGA, Gigabyte, or Asus? I play all my games on 1920x1080. Thanks.

I have the XFX 6950 2GB, its got the firmware upgrade to 6970 which took 10 Minutes, in terms of perfomance I am glad I went with the AMD, The card is great and play everything wide open on my 27 Inch LED. However, the performance numbers are on the Nvidia side somewhat. Honestly unless you put the cards side by side your not going to notice and I like my AMD card. Its the first one I have bought in years and it's working. So at the end of the day its a choice of which company your more of a fan of, I think the better deal is on the AMD because you buy one and can upgrade the firmware to the other, that adds a perfomance boost. After my 285 GTX died less than a year after I got it, I wanted to try something different. I am not sorry. Good luck mate.

If you can afford a 6950 2GB then get it. The 560 Ti is a good card and can overtake the 6950 if it's overclocked but of course it will draw more power and heat. If you can wait though the 7800 series will be launched soon and should drive down the price of the 6950 and 560 a little
