I would appreciate any suggestions to help me, if this is the best forum for this.
This problem seems to come and go. Right now it's driving me nuts. The window pops up whenever I try to make a post in any forum. The only way to turn it off is ctrl plus the corner X. Then as soon as I start typing, it pops up again. It only pops up for awhile, maybe an hour, and then stops. Like right now it isn't popping up. One forum post suggested clicking on the internet tools and then the Dev Tools and clicking on delete. But that does nothing. I would like to totally disable the darn program, app, or whatever it is.

I can't uninstall Developer's Tools from the Control Panel. I will have to wait for my son to try reinstalling IE 9. He takes care of my computer. And, no, he doesn't know what to do about the Developer's Tools popup.
I tried the ctrl+p after opening Dev Tools with F12 and putting it at the bottom of the page. For some strange reason, I haven't had a problem now in two days. I hope the next time the popup occurs I will remember to try that again.
None of these suggestions helped me. My last answer was the solution, at least temporarily.
I am having the same problem. Only difference is 3 windows pops up and when I close one, it reappears but multiplies into 2. I have been experiencing this for a few weeks last November-December and thought it was because my laptop was running out of space, so I had it reformatted a month ago. I didn't experienced it again until yesterday when I turned on my laptop (after about 3 days of hibernation - forgot to turn it off) and there it is again.
I tried doing the Ctrl+P and it transferred to the bottom the page, pressed f12 or simply the Ctrl or Shift button and it disappears and comes back a minute after. I tried with IE (I'm using Google Chrome) and it's the same thing.
My son finally found the answer for me. I don't know the exact steps he took, but he deleted the Developer's Tools. I think it was in the registry. But he knows how to dig into the hidden computer files to do things, since he is an Electronic Tech.
www.sevenforums.com has a hack that needs to be applied on a per user basis and the user needs to have administrative rights for the hack to work. This is not something I would recommend for a casual user, only for a technician or someone very knowledgeable about this kind of thing.
