PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 $44.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Total: $532 without any rebates :) .

But In my opinion You should spend a few bucks more to upgrade Mobo/CPU/GPU/RAM/PSU to best value for money.
Case: NZXT GAMMA Classic Series $39.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC $59.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Total: $689,93 without rebates :) .

So depending on your preference you can go either with the $530 system or with the $690 system. But I think the $690 system at the moment has the best value for money.

ps: On the second system that has 8gigs of RAM you would need an 64bit OS. But you can simply add the RAM from the $530 build and make the $690 system, $680 :p .

After looking around on newegg I came up with this list,

HEC Blitz Black Steel Edition ATX Mid Tower $39.99

Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB 7200 RPM $84.99

SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit $134.99

OCZ ZT Series 550W Fully-Modular 80PLUS Bronze $69.99

G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 $22.99

ASRock H61M-VS LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX $54.99

Intel Core i3-2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 $127.99

All of this comes to a grand total of $535.93 (in US dollars, so it should be cheaper in CA), as well as $35 in mail in rebates.

Hope that this has helped, it should be able to play most games on high or ultra, and if you prefer amd to intel then you can just use what you already posted.

Avoid ASrock at all costs, its ASUS low cost brand. Look for ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE etc... motherboards and no low cost brands, MB is a very important component, the one that rules them all, so choose it carefully (it will also prove usefull for future hardware upgrades)

ASRock is not low quality...

No, it's not low quality, it's low cost, it does not come with the refinements of a branded mb. It's as said, asus low cost brand

Let's please you. I'm not saying buying asrock mb will end miserable failure, and I can tell as I own a very old Asrock k7s8xe for amd athlon xp (still running fine :-) ) that they are resistant.

I'll just say it's not bleeding edge tech and can be a good deal

And recommend only asrock mb for a 500bucks rig is just as wrong as saying avoid it at all cost
