Hello i don't know if im in the right section but can someone help me cause im going to pay 250 for a graphics card and don't know all about Power Connectors or another way to call it is 6-Pin external Power Connection

now please tell me if im right here You plug the 6 pin Connector into the Graphics card But What i wanna know is Where do you plug the other side?? To the GPU cause my gpu doesn't have any Plugs or anything like that on the side and also Im getting a Gtx 560 that requires 2 x 6 pin connectors atm my computer in the inside only is showing 1 of those.

and the brand im buying the graphics card off is MSI and they give you (1) 6 pin connector So i already have 1 but where do i put that extra one like How do i install it?

Also my GPU is 680watts?

In modern graphics cards, there are slots for the power connectors. They can be there, and might not be there. GTX 560 Ti has two of them, while HD5570 doesn't have any.

If your power supply has one of that connector, you should be fine as long as it has two free molex connectors coming from your power supply:

The GTX 560 Ti comes with one molex to 6 pin PCIe adapter:

You need to plug two molex connectors to it and plug the other side to your graphics card.

The graphics card installation isn't that hard, just remember to remove AMD drivers before trying to install GTX...

The graphics card installation isn't that hard, just remember to remove AMD drivers before trying to install GTX 560 Ti, because it will just display black screen when it tries to get into windows.

Once you've uninstalled drivers, disconnect your computer from the power source on the wall (THIS ONE IS VERY IMPORTANT!), then open your case, take out old graphics card, place in the new one in the same place, and then connect the power connectors.

That's it! You've done it!

After doing it, you should download drivers from http://uk.geforce.com/drivers so it runs optimally. Before you do that, the video might be distorted.
