Help needed between Pci-express and Pci-Express 2.0!

Now, the thing is I have an Nvidia 8400GS... And as you people know it's pretty old now, so I want to buy a 260GTX but the thing is... it says Pci-Express 2.0 x16... I have a Pci-express x16 but I'm not sure if it's a 2.0... Please need your help I'm attaching the nvidia control panel photo Thanks in advance! Please tell me if i would be able to install a 260GTX

You will be fine with a GTX 260. It does appear to just be PCIe 1.0 if you need that information for future reference. There is more bandwidth in the second revision (2.0) but a GTX 260 shouldn't saturate the PCIe 1.0 lane, so you wouldn't lose any performance.

It will work. My mobo only supports PCIe 1.1 and I've got a GTX 580 installed in it. A 260 GTX is no problem at all.

yes you can put an gtx 260 in your pci express x16 1.0 but dont think it will not work it will work go for the card but the card will perform more in 2.0 and the 1.0 will give littlebit low from 2.0.

Almost, 2.1 can have issues with 1.0 motherboards with some cards.
