APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Now, $600

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: SWTOR, Modern Warfare 3, Watching Movies

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: XFX 5870 1GB, Corsair TX950

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: ASrock X58 Extreme Motherboard (SLI/CF Capable), Intel I7-920 (Cooler Master V6 Heatsink), 12GB Gskill DDR3-1600, Samsung 470 128GB SSD, 500 GB Hard Drive, Cooler Master HAF X Case

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: www.newegg.com (Credit Card), USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: No preference, Just want the best

OVERCLOCKING: No (Pre-OC Card acceptable), SLI/CF is Fine

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Single Monitor Gaming, 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: This is the part I need advice for. I've asked before and its tended to be ignored, but I want to have a setup running 3 SEPERATE MONITORS (No interest in Eyefinity/NVSurround Gaming), I simply want the ability to have my two primary monitors running with me using a 3rd (My 40" TV) monitor to watch movies/WWE/TNA on it without interfering with my primary Computer setup.

Would I just run the 3rd monitor via displayport to hdmi/dvi or somethin?

I'd like to ask something else then... Cause I feel kinda silly now if ur saying upgrading would be useless.

1) Is it as simple as get a Displayport to HDMI adapter for the TV and I'm good to go?

This is my VGA btw: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

2) I know there's differences between the two primary company's, but what should I be looking for in a GPU assuming for the future? I know that's a broad question, but i honestly dont know what I'm suppose to find in a GPU I guess if I'm thinking I should upgrade lol
