I was looking at this board because it was $200 and now with the rebate it's $110, but then I saw that the memory was DDR3 2133+, does that mean that only ram with a 2133 mhz clock speed will work well on that board or what?

If that is the case or not what would you think of this one?

I plan to use either for gaming, and possibly crossfire/SLI, but I somehow doubt that I would ever use quad SLI/crossfire, but maybe dual? I could use some help with picking the motherboard so any advice to steer me in the right way would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Any statement about RAM speeds by a motherboard manufacturer is just marketing hype. The memory controller for all new Intel and AMD systems is on the CPU, not the motherboard.

For LGA 1155 (Sandy Bridge) processors the maximum SUPPORTED speed is 1333Mhz. Anything more will officially void the warranty on the CPU.

Now, the BIOS for the motherboard and the voltage regulation may support 2133 or whatever. But that has little to do with what really matters: The memory controller on the CPU.

You got a good answer, just taking the time to educate a bit more :)
