Requesting help on a budget build @ $750.00 USD Max

There are three hardware components that I am requesting help on(The GPU is the priority, the CPU I could just use some advice and some opinions on, and then there is the power supply that I am iffy about.) A deciding factor between two - three options/parts.
This is my first build ever. I am as probably as noobie as they come. (I do have support from friends who have experience building computers though and a family member, but when it comes to the video cards they say they all are not to good with.)

I am getting a $60 ATX mid tower made of SECC steel and room for enough 120mm fans for good airflow.
A $85 500gb 7200 RPM from Seagate
A $95 ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970 Motherboard
A stick of $25 CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 1600 4GB Memory (Upgrading with another stick very soon after build)
And OEM Windows 7 home premium 64- bit SP1 for $100
(I already have disc drives)

That leaves the last three Hardware components that I am requesting advise on and opinions (I have watched a lot of reviews on these products and narrowed it down to what I'm looking for that fits into my price rang, but even so some things I was unable to sense of what would be better for my money.

The GPU -
I was either considering the

EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB

Or the
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850

In a video card it was very difficult for me to try and pick one since they all have the same specs but different prices and performance readings on benchmarks

The CPU -

I only have 2 narrowed down

AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103962

Or the

AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition Deneb 3.6GHz Socket AM3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103923

They are both similarly priced and yes the Zambezi is in the newer FX series and has the 6 cores but I saw a
benchmark review that showed the results of the CPU did not compete well against other CPU at the spec levels.

And the power supply. What Wattage would you recommend for these compenents and by which company that power wattage in the $60-$80 range and a quality brand?

***Note for the PSU***
I am not going to be doing any overclocking or SLI's So I don't think I would need a crazy amount of wattage.
