Approximate Purchase Date: This weekend
Budget Range: $1200 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming!

Parts Not Required: mouse, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I'm going to my local mall to get the parts

Country: Singapore

Parts Preferences: I'm a Intel and Nvidia supporter!

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution:1920x1080

Additional Comments: I'm hoping to SLI the GPUs in the future. I want to be able to play Battlefield 3 on max settings! Upgradability is also pretty important!

Thanks in advance for the help ! :D

I would avoid SLI unless you plan to play on multiple monitors. It isn't really necessary at 1080P and you run into unnecessary heat and compatibility issues.

I would aim for something along the lines of:

i5-2500k
8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Z68 motherboard
~500GB 7200RPM hard drive
HD 7850 2GB (Similar performance to GTX 570 with much lower power consumption and lower price)
500-550W PSU (Preferably Seasonic/XFX/Corsair/Antec/OCZ etc.)
Case is personal preference but the Antec 100, HAF 912, CM Storm Scout are good choices.)
DVD Burner

You should hopefully be able to get that within budget.

You'll find better prices at Newegg.com, unless your mall has a Microcenter.

Cooler Master CM690 II: $69.99 ($54.99 after rebate) with EMCNGHG78

OCZ ZS Series 550W 80 Plus Bronze + $20 promo gift card: $67.99 ($42.99 after rebate)

ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3: $104.99

Intel Core i5-2550K: $214.99 with EMCNGHG73

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus: $29.99 ($19.99 after rebate)

G.SKILL Sniper 8GB 1600MHz: $39.94 with EMCNGHG96

Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition: $349.99

Samsung by Seagate Spinpoint F3 500GB 7200RPM: $84.99

Samsung 22X DVD Burner: $15.99

Acer 1920x1080 monitor: $109.99

Total: $1088.85 ($1,038.85 after rebates)

I agree with the above poster about adding a second GPU, but if you still think you will want to, substitute these components.

OCZ ZS Series 750W 80 Plus Bronze + $20 promo gift card: $84.99 ($59.99 after rebate)

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168..." target="_blank">$121.99

Total: $1,122.85 ($1,072.85 after rebates)

Maybe this will help. I don't know your situation, but when I was in italy I used

www.shipitapo.com

It gives your a stateside address then it forwards packages to your destination.

I used it alot in italy.
