Biostar ta790gx 128m cpu support question

i have the biostar ta790gx 128m motherboard. on their site they state that the best cpu this can hold is the phenom 2 x4 945. is this true? they also dont show the phenom x4 9950 is supported. but hey im using as we speak. whats the deal?

that's an ugly colour scheme lol

it's am2+ and can support up to 140W CPU's... and they say that Phenom quad cores are supported

ugly as hell lol.

but i called biostar and they said it cant hold the 955 or above. but that makes no sense if all that u said is true

shame. now can u tell me why i cant overclock my black edition cpu? i cant up the voltage on the graphics card or the cpu

does it have the options to overclock

and what is your GPU model (overclock editon ect ect)

yes it does, my board was made for overclocking. i have the sapphire hd 6850 1gb

are you using sapphire trixx?

what happens when you change the multiplier? make sure the fsb dosent change when you change the multiplier

honestly im not concerned about my gpu as much. trixx doesnt even show up with the voltage changer. when i up the clock it just crashes. same wtith cpu, i can add 200 mhz to that and thats about it before crash
