I5 2500k

I use the i5 2500k just for gaming, and i gonna use the corsair h100 to overclock it to a 4,5 ghz.
My question is how long is it gonna take till it is worth to replace the i5 2500k for another newer cpu?

For a 4.5ghz overclock, a $30 hyper 212 EVO will be the best choice.

I would wait at least 3 years before reaplacing the processor.
