What does this entail?

I saw that NZXT is having one hell of a sale on cases, but they are refurbished. Does anyone know exactly what that entails? I know what refurbished means, but as far as a computer case goes, I don't know what to expect exactly. http://store.nzxt.com/product_p/rf-phantom-bno.htm

Don't bump posts. Also what refurbished probably means it has one or two dents and nicks on the paint. Wouldn't go for it if I were you...

I would have no problem with a refurbished case.
Most of the time, it is a case that has been returned, so it can not be sold as new. Not much can go wrong with a case, and you should still get the warranty.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. And if it just something as simple as paint, that's easily fixable... Not perfectly, but good enough to be worth saving $50

At those prices and free shipping I'd get a refurbished case. Like geofelt says, maybe it was returned for a bad fan or on/off swith and has been repaired. Or, GADS! ....a run in the paint job...

If it has been refurbished, wouldnt that mean if there were dents or chips, that they had been fixed? Open box is usually returned stuff, refurbs were defective but then fixed
