Hello, I been trying to improve my system alittle for gaming. I notice that my CPU was starting to run pretty hot for playing Tera Online. I was running around 60-70*C with my stock fan. I had a friend suggest a Corsair H60 to help keep my CPU from heating up. I ended up buying it, installed it, but only noticed to see my temp go down to 40-50*C while gaming. He told me it should go down to between 25-35*C. I not 100% sure whats going on. I never used these types of cooling system for CPUs. I do have a fan on both sides of the raidiator like I was told to do. This is my spec of my computer:

Processor: Intel Core i7 920
Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58-UD4P
Memory: 6 Gig DDR3
Graphic Card: 2x EVGA GTX 550Ti

If anybody could help, that be great. Thank you.

25-35C under load would take sub-ambient cooling to accomplish. 40-50C under load for a H60 on that CPU is just fine and just as expected.

I'll just add this as well, the H60 isn't the greatest (and I would never buy one personally), but it appears that it's doing a good job for you. A Hyper 212 Evo (what I have) would have accomplished the same temps though.
