Netgear Router wont work with Verizon Extender

Hi everyone,

I have a Netgear wnr2000 v3 wirless router. Im trying to get the Verizon Samsung Network extender to work on it. I am using a ethernet cable not wireless. When i go into the Netgear's Control panel and click attached devices it does not show it and it wont work. I called verizon and they gave me port numbers to put it in the port fowarding but you need the IP address which i dont know. Ideas?

I finally solved the problem. I bought an inexpensive ($40) ethernet 5 port switch. I confirmed the extender worked by bypassing the router and plugging into the modem. This confirmed it was the router compatibility problem. Took five minutes to set up and plug in the switch. Works like a champ.
