Hello,
I've just installed Windows 7 and now I cannot access my tv via HDMI for streaming. Under Vista I could. I have installed the latest AMD download but no good. When HDMI cable is installed, the monitor reverts back to athe background dispaly with no icons/mouse etc. Please help?

This sounds like a resolution mismatch. Your HDTV cannot display the resolution your graphics card is trying to send it.

Connect only the Monitor. In Catalyst Control Center, under Preferences, set up a hot key combination to toggle/swap primary displays (something like ALT+F12). Reconnect the HDTV via HDMI and use the hot key combination to make your monitor the primary display.

Once you have Catalyst Control Center on your monitor, check different resolutions for your HDTV, until you find one that works.
