Are they really in the same price range? GTX 570 is on par with the 6970 at 1080P.

6950 is a little behind unless you can unlock it to a 6970. My bro plays bf3 with 1x 6970 at 1080P...all maxed except MSAA which is off...he gets 55-60fps. His CPU though is 2500k at 4.5ghz...Your CPU is a lot slower so keep that in mind.

GTX 570 is great for 1080p...frankly if you really don't plan to play anything other than those 2 games then GTX 560ti 448 performs w100% identical as 570 in BF3

Thank you for your reply. I do in the future want to play other games but nothing really that good to look forward except Diablo 3 & Stalker 2. So going by what your saying there is no difference really between the 570 & 560ti?. If there is what are the differences between them.
Thanks again

GTX 570 is a great card, but don't compare it to a 6950. Compare it to a 6970 and then purchase the cheapest one unless you're playing games with PhysX.

compare the gtx 570 to the 6970 which has already been mentioned
here: http://www.hwcompare.com/9020/geforce-gtx-570-vs-radeon-hd-6970/
you can see the stats between the cards they are pretty similar and in the same price range it just depends which company your prefer and what games you will be playing :)
