Hello,
My case is a Thermaltake Element G and I have realized, that the Fan Control Knob on the front panel actually does not increase/decrease the speed (I did not build this PC),

So just curious could anyone help me out with possibly helping me through it, Im a computer newbie when it comes to this stuff so its well appreciated!

Also the fanspeed is at about 900RPM, and stays that way if the fan speed knob goes up or down. ( I am using CPUID to monitor )

Thanks for the help!

the first thing i would do is check all the cables running from the fan to the fan controller to make sure they are connected right. you should have warranty for this work and i copied this info from a site i found it has some info on the control knob for the fans

This knob allows a gamer to control two aspects of the fans in the Element G: fan color and fan RPM. Depressing the knob cycles through the various colors of the fans (red, blue, green, and a RBG combo), while rotating the knob increases or decreases the RPM of the fans. During testing, I found that once powered down, the LEDs reset and must be changed to their desired color upon power up.

remove the side panel of the case(left)then take a look at the wires running from the fans to the controller to try and see if they are all connected, you may need a small torch to look up inside the case, its difficult to add more detail without seeing that case myself,im hope there is someone on this forum with that particular case
