Here is what i am thinking of building....

GPU:Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 3GB Overclocked
PSU:Thermaltake ToughPower XT 775W
HDD:Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
CPU Cooler:Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler
RAM:Corsair CMX8GX3M2B1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
MoBo:Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 Motherboard
CPU:Intel Core i5 2500K
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case Black
Monitor:Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 23”

I will be building the rig to game on, is the psu sufficient?

Also where would you say the bottle-neck in the system is?

GPU an overkill? It seemed the best value for money on the market atm.

Cheers

Hi, welcome to the forums.

All the points TrueGenius made are correct. I assume you wanted to be able to run a dual GPU configuration in the future, in which 750w would be about right.

That said, I don't like Thermaltake PSU's. This PSU is one of the better ones on the market and represents a terrific value at it's current price. (15% off coupon)

The Toughpower XT *75 units are actually quite good, below are reviews for the 775W version:

I think the EA-750 Green would definitely have to be cheaper to be worthwhile buying over the XT 775W.

Thermaltake can sometimes be accused of overpricing their good units, so maybe it would be useful to know where John_A_Citizen is buying from to see if that is the case here.
