Hello,
I have an old emachine t3104 I want to use for inventory (very small business). When I turn it on it just gives me a buzzing beep every few seconds with no signal to the monitor. Any thoughts?

well if it beeping it could be the ram is not seated...or it failed..or there an issue with the video card or mb. the trick is open the case and see if everything is there and connected. sometime with old pc people strip out parts to upgrade other pc. then you end up with two or three parts machine..
if it not the ram..video card or mb...then it could be a power issue..

Re-seat the memory sticks and try to restart the machine

I did all that do you think it could be the CMOS battery. I have had the machine from new, no parts swapped out.

if you have a micro center or best buy that has a 30 days return. pcik up one stick of know good ram a cheap video card and a power supply and try swapping one out at a time or ask your friends for some parts.
