Yes it is a good motherboard but if you can stretch your budget a little you should get the asrock z68 extreme3 gen3.

I have had a lot of bad experiences with Gigabyte boards in the past. I would also suggest you stretch the budget and get the Asrock z68 extreme 3 gen3. It is a very good motherboard
