Here is the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMPSU-600CXV2UK-Builder...

I would have browsed on newegg but unfortunatly im english :D , So after much much much research and posting on various sites, I found this corsair (one of the best makes?) to be the best bang for buck for my GTX 560 TI!

This is the name of the PSU (if you dont look at link): Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK Builder Series 600W Power Supply

Is this good? Has anyone got it? Has anyone had bad experiences? Is there a better one out there (for a decent price obviously)?

I found this to be good because it comes with 600W and is a top brand!

On amazon it doesnt say what connectors this comes with...If anyone knows what connectors comes with it please post below (with a link for proof), because i need it to work with GTX 560 TI

Excellent power supply and has all the cables you'll need for a 560ti. It's actually considerable overkill, but as the owner of a 1050w and 850w power supplies, I shouldn't be talking. If you want to save some money and don't plan to add some crazy multiple video card configuration the equivalent Corsair Builder Series 500 and 430 supplies will work just as well.

Noob Ranked 100 Question incoming: What does 'overkill' mean talking about PSUs? And also 500W is the minimum needed for a GTX 560TI, So i was going for the 600W to be safe :)  the corsair builder 500 seems to have pretty poor reviews though :/

Thanks for the help !

Ignore what i said about 'bad reviews' that was only on Amazon UK, However it is only like £5 more to get the 600W so i may as well spend a little extra

Card manufacturers and most calculators greatly overstate the power requirements. They do this because they don't know what else may be in your computer and they also don't know if your power supply is actually any good. So when nVidia says a 560ti requires 500w, they really mean "If you have a cheap 500w power supply that actually only outputs 400w and is unsafe when stressed and you have 12 hard disks and an overclocked 6-core CPU, it will probably work". In practice, a really good 350w power supply would handle a 560 just fine. I have a 560ti 448 in my wife's Dell, running a good 460w power supply and the whole system never pulls more than 300w out of the wall (which given 90% efficiency means 270w from the psu itself).

So buy the 600w if you want, it will last a few years and you can use it sometime when you buy another gpu or something, but you can save some money and buy a lower output, high quality supply and do just as well.

Also, psus are most efficient at around 50% load (this is a very general rule of thumb). So if you put a 1500w power supply in and only draw 200w, it will actually use more power (and thus increase your electricity bill) than a 400w psu would. That's the other meaning of overkill.

Summary: Past some minimum requirements, quality trumps quantity

This is what, the 5th or 6th time you've asked ?
The fact remains, the XFX550 is a better psu, and can be had for less than the CX600

Read the stickies:

and reviews:

He's probably right, the XFX550 is probably better just based on its Bronze Rating (read the stickies) and the fact that it is made by Seasonic one of the best psu companies (and my personal vendor of choice).. Review here:

Overall, you are on the right track and any of these will be absolutely fine. Your system is very modest in its power requirements and buying one of these will be better than 99% of what people have in their perfectly fine working computers. Of course, if you want to sleep well at night, buy one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-X-660-Watt-Power-Suppl...

or one of its big or little brothers.

the cx series from corsair are basically office psu's nothing special its as plain as green grass with average performance while being barely adequate where the xfx is more mid level focussed with better power distribution and performance

Better build quality ( Seasonic over CWT )
Higher efficiency ( 80+ Bronze v 80+ Standard )
More power on the 12v ( 44a v 40a )
Lower cost
