Hi guys, I just built a new system;
Mobo: ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3
CPU: Intel core i5 2500 3.3 quad core
PSU: Silverstone Strider 500W
RAM: 2 x Corsair XMS3 4gb DDR3 1600
HD: Seagate barracuda 500GB
Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD6870
Windows 7 home
I got it all together and got it working almost perfectly except that the Radeon isn't being detected whatsoever. The fans are turning and I tried two different power routes from the PSU. I tried disabling the on board VGA and restarting, have the bios set up to detect the PCI-e slot first, Installed and uninstalled the Radeon drivers, no dice.
I'm going to see if theres anyone I know with a PCI-e slot and a new enough mobo to test my card on their system just to be sure. I'm pretty sure that it's a DOA graphics card but I want to pick your brains' for perhaps something I missed.
