Hello,
I need some help with making a PC based around playing MMORPG's.

I will mainly be playing TERA and SWTOR and I believe they both have pretty demanding system requirements.

Can you guys give me some help on what parts will be best to use in building a PC based around these games. I have a budget of $1000.

For reference, here are the system requirements for both games:
The recommended system requirements for TERA:
• OS: Windows XP, VISTA or 7 (Latest Service Pack)
• CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or Intel Core2 Duo E6750 2.66G
• RAM: 2 GB or greater
• GPU: AMD Radeon HD 3870 or Geforce 8800GT
• HDD: 30 GB of hard drive space
• DirectX: DirectX 9.0c
• Optical Drive: DVD-ROM Drive
• Internet Connection

The recommended system requirements for TOR:
CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 Quad-core 2.5GHz or better / Intel Core 2Quad Processor 2.4GHz or better.
OS: Windows 7 64bit SP1, with 4GB RAM or higher.
8x DVD-ROM or faster.
VIDEO: ATI/AMD Radeon HD 4850 or better* / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or better* / *512 minimum video RAM / *Shader 3.0 or better fully compatible graphics card.

Thanks guys!

RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) ~ Uber Ram that I use, and more than enough mem ~ ($44.99)

PSU: OCZ ZT Series 750W Fully-Modular ~ $15 promo gift card & 15% off w/ OCZPSU15, ends 3/27 ($109.99)

Optical: SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner ~ Cheap, all you need ~ ($15.99)

HD: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM ($84.99)

Case: This is purely up to you and what you find aesthetically pleasing. I went with the Rosewill BLACKHAWK for my own build and I really enjoy it.. ($89.99)

GPU: GTX 560 Ti ($249.99)

OR

Spend the extra $10 on a 7850 which is probably worth it:

TOTAL: $937.92 before rebates/promos

If you need an OS add windows 7 home premium for an extra $100:

After rebates and promos you should be hovering right around the $1000 range, maybe a few bucks more or less. This system will certainly crush any game you throw at it right now, especially if you overclock the 2500k above 4.0ghz which I recommend you do.

This is a good Build. If you are willing to crossfire you can get more power out of two 6850s. after MIR they are 119.99 each
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

you may need a better PSU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... would be my suggestion
