Well theres a huge difference in price between the 2, seeing as there aimed at different types of a PC build, so i suppose it depends what your going to put into it, if its a low to mid range pc system then the 300r is more than good enough, however if your using high end pc system components with water cooling then the 650D would better suite your needs.

It depends on the sort of system you are building (and it also boils down to personal preference). I have both of those cases and I love each of them.

Even though the 650D is an Obsidian and 300R a Carbide, the latter is a complete STRIP DOWN of the former.

Well if I was looking at versatility and future proof, what would be my best bet?

As long as you get the 650D with USB3 then thats the one to get.

They each serve their own purpose depending on the build... they are both great cases giving you for what you are paying.
