Hello guys I have a question that maybe someone on the forums could help me answer. I have a antec 85Ow power supply I am testing that is exhibiting some odd behavior. When turning the psu on to test all voltages and tolerances are fine but... after switching it off then back on it fails to power on. I tried this several times and if given a few mins it will power back on with correct voltage everytime. I've never encountred this before is there suppose to be a delay in switching off/on like that?

Solution
Depending on how you are 'testing' it, there should be no delay. It could have one or more capacitors that aren't charging as they should.

Thanks for the speedy reply, I was using a standard antec brand atx tester. I also tested a sea sonic I had on hand that functioned as I though it should (meaning no delay). Guess its time to send the 850 to the psu grave yard, thanks again.
