500~ish gaming desktop in June-July

So I want to build a new gaming desktop pc when I'll finish school and I can only spend about $500. I am tired of my mobile hd radeon 4500 and 15fps on lowest settings. Thanks for your help. Don't know what else to say so:

Come back in a couple of months. We're on the verge of a bunch of new releases, most notably Ivy Bridge (new Intel CPUs) and the rest of the Nvidia 600 series. Both of these, though they may themselves be out of your budget range, should push prices down on lower-end items. Wait and see.
