CPU + Motherboard

So I am just currently looking to buy a new CPU + Motherboard, I have a video card.
So I already picked out my CPU just don't know what kind of motherboard i'm looking for. There are ones with integrated graphics and ones, some say micro. Would appreciate it if someone explained the benefits and give advice to which I should buy.

Oh and also, I saw today they are selling 8 core amd cpus.
So what would be the point of buying one of these...

  1. What cpu have you picked out? What is your budget? And as far as the purpose for an 8-core cpu, basically means that you can do more at once without your computer being bogged down as much.

    CPU
    Preferably a motherboard under $150.
But like I mean what would be the use for 8 cores. Does anything use more than 4?

For games, you dont need more than 4. If you are gaming there are much better CPUS than the fx-4100
Anyways, this motherboard gets pretty good reviews.
