I'd scale back the motherboard and invest the difference in upgrading your GPU to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102983

For the motherboard get this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128498

Also swap your PSU with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703028

And your SSD with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148442

And your secondary HD with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148697

Also watch the tall heat sinks on the Vengeance RAM - make sure you get the low profile version if you're going to be using a Hyper 212, otherwise if you look at those proposed changes everything else looks good.

You think that the ram is gonna hit the 212 cooler? And ty for the options but I am not really looking for a motherboard with intergrated graphics. So that board is really not for me.

I want to second the Gigabyte UD3H board linked above. The z68 board is cheaper and will serve you just as well as the maximus p67 board you listed. The graphics on your processor won't take precedence over your discrete GPU, so it won't matter.

I'm not sure why a 950 Watt power supply was recommended for a build with a single 7870, though. A 750 Watt would handle crossfired 7870's and an overclocked i5 just fine. Like this one, which is $95 after rebate:

That was a pretty good deal for that Silencer 950, but ultimately you'd be spending more than on this PSU that will serve you just as well.

Also, check out this other full-tower by NZXT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146067

It's $40 cheaper and still very nice.

I recommend that PSU because for the price it's an absolute steal compared to say - the Corsair AX 850 or Seasonic X750 / X850 Gold. It's a proven PSU, solid construction, and you get future-proofing in case you decide to Crossfire / SLI. I also like the Phantom as well - that's an excellent choice.

Yes it will if you get the tall heat sinks. If you get low profile RAM like this you'll have no issues:

The thing with Z68 though is that you're not going to find very many motherboards without integrated graphics, and I certainly don't recommend paying $300 on a motherboard when you could get a $150 board and put that difference into your GPU - I can't stress enough how important having a good GPU is to ensure the longevity of your build.
