HDMI cable issue

I have an XFX 6970 and when I connect with an HDMI the full screen of my monitor is not used, almost like being in windowed mode. But, when I use DVI, it works properly and everything looks crisp. Any ideas? I have installed/reinstalled drivers.

Have you adjusted your screen resolution?

I figured it out after reading another post. I needed to set scaling to zero in CCC options.
