Hello,
So I got a pretty good computer already with the amd fx 8120 cpu in a gigabyte am3 990fxa ud3 mainboard with 4 gigs of ddr3 1600 ram running off a 600 watt psu. Currently rocking the amd hd 6770 gpu which has been runng bf3 at high setting np aa in 1080p and the witcher 2 in high setting great. But I want toupgrade to the msi 560gtx ti soon and eventually add another for sli. My question is will sli 560tis max out bf3 and the witcher 2 in 1080p with aa and ubersampling and all the other bells and whistles?

More about : sli msi 560ti 1gbddr5

Well I'm not realler concerned with keeping the fps at 60 as long as the don't drop below 35. A single card set up would be much preferable to a sli or xfire config but I read its impossible to play bf3 ultra wihout atleast sli 560tis. Currently I have not notice any choppiness or framerate drop on multiplayer with high setting no aa or antroscpioc filtering. Also I read the uber sampling is terrible no matter how many cards at whatever speed so is this just a dream?

I have two MSI GTX560ti HAWK's running in SLI with the Intel 2500k. In BF3 with everything on Ultra including MSAA and HBAO, the pair isn't enough... :(  However, if you turn off MSAA and HBAO but keep all the detail and everything else on ultra you'll be running an easy 90fps. I should mention that with HBAO on / MSAA off, you can do ok, but so far I keep experiencing lag spikes with HBAO on..

However, if you are gaming on 1080 you might do better, because I'm running on 1920x1200.

I can run my Gigabyte 560ti SLI at ultra with MSAA turned off and HBAO turned on in multiplayer. Runs perfectly , has no lag and looks great, and I'm running an older QX9650 cpu.
I noticed going up from 4gig of ram to 8 gigs made a big difference in BF3 with my 560ti SLI set up.
You could also consider looking at the new 7970 , has excellent performance for a single card which is worth looking at.

What resolution are you running at? 1080 or 1200?
