More about upgrade
  1. Its possible, but highly not recommended to fiddle with a laptop processor. Too much work :)

Within ur 5000 series, the T5300 (2M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) looks highly compatible with ur mobo, but its not worth upgrading to.
However, if u find that ur mobo supports chips with a 666MHz FSB, then there a whole lotta chips u can upgrade to :)
  2. Unlikely, it might be soldered in. Make sure to check if you decide to upgrade.

I though they were just socket based like normal desktop/server chips!!
