Solved

$400 CPU/GPU/MoBo Gaming

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: $400-$450

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, browsing, programming

Parts Not Required: PSU, HDD, DVD drive, Mouse, Keyboard, Screen

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg/tigerdirect

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, gaming GPU

Overclocking: maybe

SLI or Crossfire: maybe
Monitor Resolution: 720p / occasionally 1080i

Additional Comments: Must be able to play games(fallout, crysis, minecraft, skyrim, assassins creed) at highest settings... Without a noticeable FPS drop. I have already purchased a 550W power supply. I also would like to avoid bottlenecking my graphics card... as my budget likely will prevent me purchasing an i5-i7 unless i downgrade my graphics card.
CURRENT PLAN
Intel Core i3-2100
Radeon HD 6870 1GB
(still need a good motherboard, I am looking into the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157271)
(Also am uncertain which ram to get... I hear it is not very useful in gaming)

I'd swap the i3 for the i5-2500k and I'd get this mobo (your link is broken by the way):

It'll do all that your requiring in your post. Good luck with your build.
