Can a memory module run using a differnet chipset? Example made for a z77, but I

i'm building a rig and want to use corsair ram. the mhz speed is 1833, they're a matched set 8gb (2x4gb), but my QVL for mobo does not list a chipset, however the user guide for my mobo doesn't specify. newegg has what i want but it a z77 chipset is listed!will it work with a z68 chipset?

Sure it'll work on a Z68 chipset. What speed it will run at is determined by the BIOS in the motherboard, and what speeds it supports.
